About

Jeff Olivet has worked in homelessness, behavioral health, and public health for more than 30 years. As a policy maker, speaker, writer, and thought leader, he has shaped new directions for organizations across the United States and internationally.

From 2022-2025, Jeff was Executive Director of the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness. Previously, he was CEO of the Center for Social Innovation (now C4 Innovations), where he led the growth and development of this dynamic social policy company. He worked previously as a street outreach worker, case manager, coalition builder, activist, national trainer and technical assistance provider, as well as an inspirational public speaker. 

Jeff has been Principal Investigator on multiple research studies funded by National Institutes of Health and private foundations, and he conceived of and led the SPARC Initiative (Supporting Partnerships for Anti-Racist Communities), a multi-city effort to address racial inequity in homelessness. 

In addition to his work with the Olivet Group, Jeff is a co-founder of Racial Equity Partners.

Jeff is deeply committed to social justice, racial equity, gender equality, and inclusion for all. He has a BA from the University of Alabama and an MA from Boston College. Jeff has two adult children and lives in Washington, DC with his wife Jessica.
